Tsuyako Asada
Head Gardener, Head garden designer
Founded alice garden design in 2000.
In 2016, she joined the team as a planter in the garden designed by Nick Bailey at the Chelsea Flower Show 2016. The team won the Silver-gilt medal.
After that, her talent was recognized and she practiced as an intern at the Chelsea Physic Garden, where Nick Bailey was the head gardener at the time, further honing her knowledge of plants and gardening skills.
In 2018, she was in charge of planting design for Niwaki Ltd. at the trade stand at the Chelsea Flower Show 2018. The team won the 4Star Tradestand Award.
In 2019, she joined the team as a planting staff member in the garden designed by Paul Hervey-Brooks at the Chelsea Flower Show 2019. The team won a gold medal.
Currently, she is using the Alice Method to spread natural garden creation and maintenance methods to private homes, commercial facilities, and medical facilities, and is working to contribute to the improvement of environmental problems such as global warming.

Takuya Asada
Gardener
Joined alice garden design in 2013.
In 2017, he went to the UK on a working holiday visa.
Accepted as an intern at Chelsea Physic Garden.
In 2018, he was in charge of planting design and construction for Niwaki Ltd. at the trade stand at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show 2018. The team won the 4Star Tradestand Award in both of the show.
While struggling to find a job, he met Jekka McVicar.
After that, he got a job at Jekka's Herb Farm as an apprentice propagator for one year.
He returned to Japan in 2019 and is currently researching how to adapt and apply the knowledge and techniques he learned in the UK to the Japanese environment.
